وأوضح المركز، أن حالات اكتشاف الفيروس بين الطيور في أستراليا شهدت زيادة خلال الفترة الأخيرة، مشيرًا إلى أن الجهات المختصة تواصل مراقبة الوضع وتقييم أي تغير محتمل في مستوى الخطر على الصحة العامة.
ودعا أفراد المجتمع إلى تجنب ملامسة الطيور أو الحيوانات المريضة أو النافقة.
