وقال نائب رئيس حكومة إقليم الأندلس أنطونيو سانث كابيو: “إن السلطات أعلنت حالة طوارئ”.
وأضاف في حديثه لسكان المنطقة: “إذا كنتم ‌في غرناطة وشعرتم بالزلزال وأنتم بخير ولم يلحق ضررًا بمنازلكم، فتحلوا بالهدوء وتجنبوا الدخول إلى المباني والخروج منها دون ضرورة”.
