يرأس وزير المالية محمد بن عبدالله الجدعان وفد المملكة المشارك في اجتماعات الربيع لصندوق النقد ومجموعة البنك الدوليين للعام 2026، المقرر انعقادها في العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن خلال الفترة 25 شوال إلى 1 ذي القعدة 1447هـ الموافق 13-18 أبريل 2026.
وفد سعودي رفيع المستوى
ويضم الوفد السعودي محافظ البنك المركزي السعودي أيمن بن محمد السياري، ومساعد وزير المالية للسياسات المالية الكلية والعلاقات الدولية المهندس عبدالله بن عبدالرحمن بن زرعة، ووكيل رئيس اللجنة الدولية للشؤون النقدية والمالية الدكتور رياض الخريّف، ووكيل محافظ البنك المركزي للاستثمار ماجد العواد، ووكيل وزارة المالية للعلاقات الدولية خالد باوزير، والرئيس التنفيذي للصندوق السعودي للتنمية سلطان المرشد، والرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الوطني لإدارة الدَين هاني المديني، إضافة إلى عدد من المختصين من وزارة المالية، والبنك المركزي السعودي، والصندوق السعودي للتنمية، والمركز الوطني لإدارة الدين.
اجتماعات مجموعة الـ 20
وعلى هامش هذه الاجتماعات، يشارك وزير المالية ومحافظ البنك المركزي السعودي في الاجتماع الأول لوزراء المالية ومحافظي البنوك المركزية لدول مجموعة الـ20، الذي يُعقد هذا العام تحت رئاسة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
رئاسة اللجنة النقدية والمالية
كما سيرأس وزير المالية اللجنة الدولية للشؤون النقدية والمالية التابعة لصندوق النقد الدولي، إذ ستناقش اللجنة أبرز تطورات الاقتصاد العالمي، وآفاق النمو، والتحديات التي تواجه الاقتصاد الدولي، إضافة إلى سبل تعزيز استقرار النظام المالي العالمي ودعم جهود التعاون متعدد الأطراف.
اجتماعات البنك الدولي والتنمية
ويشارك وزير المالية في اجتماع لجنة التنمية التابعة لمجموعة البنك الدولي، الذي سيناقش عدداً من القضايا الاقتصادية والتنموية ذات الأولوية، بما في ذلك التحديات التي تواجه الاقتصادات العالمية والناشئة، وتوجهات مجموعة البنك الدولي الإستراتيجية لتوفير فرص العمل.
نقاشات اقتصادية عالمية
ومن المقرر أن يُعقد على هامش هذه الاجتماعات عدد من النقاشات والجلسات الجانبية لبحث الموضوعات الاقتصادية والمالية ذات الأولوية، بما في ذلك آفاق النمو الاقتصادي العالمي في ظل التطورات الجيوسياسية، إلى جانب مناقشة تعزيز مرونة النظام المالي العالمي، ودور المؤسسات المالية الدولية في دعم الاستقرار الاقتصادي والتنمية، وتعزيز التعاون متعدد الأطراف.
منصة دولية للاقتصاد العالمي
وتُعد اجتماعات الربيع منصةً دولية تجمع وزراء المالية، ومحافظي البنوك المركزية، وكبار المسؤولين من المؤسسات المالية الدولية والقطاع الخاص، لمناقشة أبرز القضايا المرتبطة بالاقتصاد العالمي، والنظام المالي الدولي، والتحديات الاقتصادية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
The Minister of Finance, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, heads the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the 2026 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, scheduled to be held in the U.S. capital, Washington, from 25 Shawwal to 1 Dhul-Qi’dah 1447 AH, corresponding to April 13-18, 2026.
High-Level Saudi Delegation
The Saudi delegation includes the Governor of the Saudi Central Bank, Ayman bin Mohammed Al-Sayari, the Assistant Minister of Finance for Macro-Financial Policies and International Relations, Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulrahman bin Zar’ah, the Deputy Head of the International Monetary and Financial Committee, Dr. Riyad Al-Khuraif, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank for Investment, Majid Al-Awad, the Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations, Khalid Baouzir, the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan Al-Murshid, the CEO of the National Debt Management Center, Hani Al-Mudaini, in addition to a number of specialists from the Ministry of Finance, the Saudi Central Bank, the Saudi Fund for Development, and the National Debt Management Center.
G20 Meetings
On the sidelines of these meetings, the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Saudi Central Bank will participate in the first meeting of the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the G20 countries, which is held this year under the presidency of the United States of America.
Chairing the Monetary and Financial Committee
The Minister of Finance will also chair the International Monetary and Financial Affairs Committee of the International Monetary Fund, where the committee will discuss the most significant developments in the global economy, growth prospects, and the challenges facing the international economy, in addition to ways to enhance the stability of the global financial system and support multilateral cooperation efforts.
World Bank and Development Meetings
The Minister of Finance will participate in the Development Committee meeting of the World Bank Group, which will discuss several priority economic and developmental issues, including the challenges facing global and emerging economies, and the strategic directions of the World Bank Group to create job opportunities.
Global Economic Discussions
Several discussions and side sessions are scheduled to be held on the sidelines of these meetings to address priority economic and financial topics, including the prospects for global economic growth in light of geopolitical developments, as well as discussions on enhancing the resilience of the global financial system, the role of international financial institutions in supporting economic stability and development, and strengthening multilateral cooperation.
International Platform for the Global Economy
The Spring Meetings serve as an international platform that brings together finance ministers, central bank governors, and senior officials from international financial institutions and the private sector to discuss key issues related to the global economy, the international financial system, and economic challenges of mutual interest.
