وأوضح الجيش في بيان اليوم أن قوات الأمن نفذت سلسلة عمليات بناءً على معلومات استخباراتية في مناطق عديدة من الإقليم، أسفرت عن القضاء على الإرهابيين ومصادرة كمية من الأسلحة كانت بحوزتهم.
وأضاف أن العناصر التي تم القضاء عليها تنتمي إلى جماعات إرهابية، حيث قال الجيش إنها تحظى بدعم وتمويل من أجهزة استخبارات معادية لتنفيذ أنشطة إرهابية داخل باكستان.
