بعد اللقب التاريخي.. «هاو» يودع نيوكاسل

أنهى الإنجليزي إيدي هاو مهمته مديراً فنياً لفريق نيوكاسل يونايتد، بعد 5 أعوام قضاها في قيادة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم.

وأعلن النادي أن هاو قرر الرحيل عن منصبه، مشيداً بإسهامه في إعادة الفريق إلى المنافسة محلياً وقارياً، إذ قاده إلى التتويج بأول لقب محلي كبير للنادي منذ 70 عاماً، والتأهل إلى دوري أبطال أوروبا مرتين، وبلوغ الأدوار الإقصائية للمسابقة للمرة الأولى في تاريخه.

وأضاف أن إجراءات التعاقد مع مدير فني جديد وصلت إلى مرحلة متقدمة، على أن يُعلن المستجدات خلال الفترة القادمة.

The Englishman Eddie Howe has concluded his role as the head coach of Newcastle United, after 5 years spent leading the first team.

The club announced that Howe has decided to step down from his position, praising his contribution to returning the team to competition both locally and internationally, as he led them to win the club’s first major domestic trophy in 70 years, and to qualify for the UEFA Champions League twice, reaching the knockout stages of the competition for the first time in its history.

It was added that the process of hiring a new head coach has reached an advanced stage, with updates to be announced in the coming period.
