وأفادت السلطات في بنغلاديش في بيان، أنه تم إرسال وحدات إطفاء للسيطرة على النيران، مشيرةً إلى أن رجال الإطفاء تمكنوا من انتشال (5) جثث، ولم يتسن التعرف على هوياتهم على الفور، فيما لا يزال سبب الحريق قيد التحقيق.
