اختتم الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي القادسية مساء اليوم استعداداته لانطلاق منافسات دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، إذ يستهل مشواره بمواجهة نظيره الشباب مساء غدٍ (الخميس) في العاصمة الرياض.
وأجرى القادسية تدريبه الختامي على ملعبه بالخبر بقيادة المدرب الإيرلندي بريندان رودجرز، وركّز الجهاز الفني على الجوانب التكتيكية، وطبّق عدداً من الجمل الفنية التي يعتزم الاعتماد عليها خلال اللقاء.
من جهته، أبدى مدرب القادسية رودجرز تطلعه إلى تقديم فريقه بداية قوية، موضحاً أن «الشباب فريق قوي، لكن تركيزنا الأول ينصب على أنفسنا وعلى تقديم مستوانا الحقيقي في افتتاحية موسم مشوق»، مؤكداً أن المباراة الأولى تمثل تتويجاً للعمل الذي بذله الفريق خلال فترة الإعداد.
ويدخل القادسية الموسم الجديد بعدما أنهى منافسات الموسم الماضي في المركز الرابع بجدول ترتيب دوري روشن، فيما تنتظره مشاركة في أربع بطولات، هي دوري روشن السعودي، وكأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، ودوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، إلى جانب كأس السوبر السعودي.
The first football team of Al-Qadsiah Club concluded its preparations this evening for the start of the Saudi Pro League Roshan competitions, as it begins its journey with a match against its counterpart Al-Shabab tomorrow evening (Thursday) in the capital, Riyadh.
Al-Qadsiah conducted its final training session at its home ground in Khobar, led by Irish coach Brendan Rodgers, with the coaching staff focusing on tactical aspects and implementing several technical phrases that they intend to rely on during the match.
For his part, Al-Qadsiah coach Rodgers expressed his desire to present a strong start for his team, explaining that “Al-Shabab is a strong team, but our primary focus is on ourselves and on showcasing our true level in the opening of an exciting season,” emphasizing that the first match represents the culmination of the work the team has put in during the preparation period.
Al-Qadsiah enters the new season after finishing last season in fourth place in the Roshan League standings, while it awaits participation in four tournaments: the Saudi Pro League, the King’s Cup, the AFC Champions League for elite teams, in addition to the Saudi Super Cup.
