ووفقًا لوكالة أنباء آسيا الدولية الهندية، ذكرت السلطات في الهند أنه لقي 9 أشخاص حتفهم إثر الحريق، فيما تم إنقاذ 25 آخرين قد أصيبوا بحروق، نتيجة اشتعال النيران في الحافلة على طريق يامونا السريع بـ”أوتار براديش”.
وأشارت التحقيقات الأولية إلى أن الحادث نشأ جراء انفجار في نظام التكييف الخاص بالحافلة.
