وسجلت منطقة اليورو بدورها زيادة في حالات الإفلاس بنسبة 6.9%، مقابل انخفاض طفيف في معدلات تأسيس الشركات الجديدة بنحو 0.1%.
وعلى صعيد القطاعات، تصدر قطاع التعليم والأنشطة الاجتماعية قائمة الارتفاعات في حالات الإفلاس مسجلاً 21.1%، تبعه قطاع النقل بزيادة قدرها 11.4%، ثم قطاع الخدمات المالية بنسبة 6.8%، في حين حقق قطاع المعلومات والاتصالات في المقابل نمواً لافتاً في عمليات تأسيس الشركات بنسبة بلغت 8.8%.
وشهدت المؤشرات على مستوى الدول الأعضاء تصدر أيرلندا للدول التي حققت نمواً في تسجيل الشركات الجديدة بنسبة 20.4%، بينما تكبدت لوكسمبورغ التراجع الأكبر في هذا المجال بنسبة 24.2%.
وفي إسبانيا، تراجعت معدلات تأسيس الشركات بنسبة 5.8%، مترافقة مع ارتفاع في حالات الإفلاس بنسبة 2%.
Data from “Eurostat,” the statistical office of the European Union, showed an increase in corporate bankruptcies within EU countries by 5.7% during the second quarter of 2026, coinciding with a decline in new company registrations by 0.5%. Slight Decline
The Eurozone also recorded an increase in bankruptcies by 6.9%, alongside a slight decrease in new company formations by about 0.1%.
By sector, the education and social activities sector topped the list of increases in bankruptcies, recording 21.1%, followed by the transportation sector with an increase of 11.4%, and then the financial services sector at 6.8%. In contrast, the information and communications sector achieved notable growth in company formations, reaching 8.8%.
Indicators at the member state level showed that Ireland led the countries with growth in new company registrations at 20.4%, while Luxembourg experienced the largest decline in this area at 24.2%.
In Spain, the rates of company formations decreased by 5.8%, accompanied by an increase in bankruptcies by 2%.
