قال رئيس مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي الأمريكي الجديد «كيفن وارش» إنه يعتزم قيادة حملة إصلاحات داخل البنك المركزي الأمريكي، مؤكداً عزمه أداء مهمات منصبه «بطاقة وعزيمة» في ظل التحديات الاقتصادية الراهنة.
وأضاف وارش، خلال تصريحات عقب توليه المنصب، أن الولايات المتحدة تعيش «وقتاً بالغ الأهمية»، مشيراً إلى أنه ليس «ساذجاً بشأن التحديات» التي تواجه الاقتصاد الأمريكي.
وتوجه وارش بالشكر إلى الرئيس الأمريكي «دونالد ترمب» بعد تعيينه رئيساً لمجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي.
وأدى «كيفن وارش» اليمين رئيساً لمجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي (البنك المركزي الأميركي) اليوم (الجمعة).
وأكد رئيس مجلس الاحتياطي الجديد، أن السنوات القادمة «يمكن أن تحمل ازدهاراً لا مثيل له»، معتبراً أنه من الممكن خفض التضخم مع الحفاظ على قوة النمو الاقتصادي.
وقال وارش إن مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي «سيتعلم من أخطاء الماضي ونجاحاته» في إدارة السياسة النقدية خلال المرحلة القادمة.
وتجاوز وارش منافسيه في السباق على رئاسة المجلس بفضل انتقاداته لمسؤولي البنك المركزي الحاليين ورؤيته لخفض أسعار الفائدة وعلاقته بالرئيس دونالد ترمب.
