استهلّ النصر مشواره في حملة الدفاع عن لقب الدوري السعودي للمحترفين «دوري روشن» بفوزه على ضيفه الفتح بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما اليوم على ملعب «الأول بارك» بالرياض، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى من المسابقة.
افتتح النصر التسجيل عن طريق أنجيلو غابرييل عند الدقيقة (37)، قبل أن يعزز البرتغالي جواو فيليكس تقدم فريقه بالهدف الثاني عند الدقيقة (40)، لينتهي الشوط الأول بتقدم النصر بهدفين دون مقابل، وفي الشوط الثاني واصل النصر أفضليته، وتمكن سامو كوستا من إضافة الهدف الثالث عند الدقيقة (73)، مؤكداً فوز فريقه وحصده أول ثلاث نقاط في مشواره بالمسابقة.
وبهذه النتيجة حصد النصر أول ثلاث نقاط في الدوري، فيما بقي الفتح دون نقاط بعد الجولة الأولى.
