وقال قاليباف، وهو كبير المفاوضين الإيرانيين، في كلمة متلفزة “بالطبع، لا يقع جزء من مسؤولية هذا الاستهلاك المرتفع على عاتق شعبنا، بل على عاتق قطاعنا الصناعي، ولكن على أية حال، من الواضح أننا بحاجة إلى ترشيد استهلاك الوقود”.
