Federation of Chambers to Transport Investors: Increase your readiness to meet expected demand

The Federation of Saudi Chambers called on entities operating in the transport sector to raise the level of readiness and enhance operational preparedness, in light of the current conditions in the sector, in order to ensure the continuity of transport and supply chains.

The Federation explained in a recent circular the need to prepare a work plan for transport operations through the Kingdom’s ports, in order to facilitate the movement of shipping and support the smooth transport of goods.

The union stressed the importance of ensuring that sufficient numbers of trucks are available to cover the expected increase during the crisis period, in addition to increasing the number of trucks approved for transit transport services, to keep pace with the expected growth in business volume during the coming period.
