كشفت بيانات الهيئة العامة للإحصاء أن مؤشر ثقة الأعمال في السعودية خلال شهر أغسطس 2026م بلغ 56.7 نقطة، محققاً بذلك ارتفاعاً بمقدار 0.2 نقطة مقارنة بشهر يوليو الماضي.
وأوضحت الهيئة في التقرير الشهري الصادر اليوم الأربعاء أن المؤشر يعكس تفاؤلاً سائداً في قطاع الأعمال، مدعوماً بثقة المنشآت في استقرار النشاط الاقتصادي، ومواصلة النمو عبر مختلف القطاعات.
قطاع الصناعة
وسجل مؤشر ثقة الأعمال في قطاع الصناعة خلال شهر أغسطس 2026 مستوى متفائلاً بلغ 55.8 نقطة، محققاً ارتفاعاً بمقدار 1.04 نقطة مقارنة بشهر يوليو، الذي سجل فيه 54.7 نقطة. ويُعزى هذا المستوى إلى تزايد الثقة في المنشآت الصناعية، خاصة في جانب توقعات الأداء العام والتوظيف.
فيما سجل مؤشر ثقة الأعمال في قطاع الخدمات 56.1 نقطة، بارتفاع قدره 0.9 نقطة مقارنة بشهر يوليو 2026، الذي سجل 55.3 نقطة. وجاء هذا الارتفاع مدعوماً بزيادة مستوى تفاؤل المنشآت، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالأداء العام والإنفاق الاستثماري الثابت.
قطاع التشييد
وسجل قطاع التشييد خلال شهر أغسطس الماضي مستوى متفائلاً في مؤشر ثقة الأعمال بلغ 57.3 نقطة، ما يعكس استمرار حالة التفاؤل لدى منشآت القطاع، رغم تراجعه المحدود بمقدار 0.4 نقطة عن شهر يوليو، الذي سجل فيه 57.7 نقطة، حيث يعود هذا الانخفاض إلى تراجع في مستويات الثقة المرتبطة بتكاليف المدخلات خلال الشهر الجاري والمتوقعة للشهر القادم.
ومؤشر ثقة الأعمال (BCI) هو مؤشر اقتصادي يعكس مستوى تفاؤل المنشآت تجاه أوضاع الأعمال الراهنة وتوقعاتها المستقبلية اعتماداً على بيانات مسح ثقة الأعمال الذي ينفذ على عينة من المنشآت التي تعمل ضمن مختلف الأنشطة الاقتصادية غير النفطية، وفق التصنيف الوطني الموحد للأنشطة الاقتصادية (ISIC4).
ويحتسب المؤشر ضمن نطاق يتراوح بين 0 و100 نقطة، ويعد مستوى 50 الحد المحايد، وتشير القيم الأعلى من 50 إلى حالة من التفاؤل وارتفاع مستوى الثقة في الأعمال، وفي المقابل تعكس القيم الأدنى من 50 حالة من التشاؤم وانخفاض مستوى الثقة في الأعمال.
The General Authority for Statistics revealed that the Business Confidence Index in Saudi Arabia during August 2026 reached 56.7 points, achieving an increase of 0.2 points compared to last July.
The authority clarified in the monthly report issued today, Wednesday, that the index reflects a prevailing optimism in the business sector, supported by the confidence of establishments in the stability of economic activity and continued growth across various sectors.
Industrial Sector
The Business Confidence Index in the industrial sector recorded an optimistic level of 55.8 points during August 2026, achieving an increase of 1.04 points compared to July, which recorded 54.7 points. This level is attributed to the increasing confidence in industrial establishments, especially regarding expectations for overall performance and employment.
Meanwhile, the Business Confidence Index in the services sector recorded 56.1 points, an increase of 0.9 points compared to July 2026, which recorded 55.3 points. This increase was supported by a rise in the level of optimism among establishments, particularly concerning overall performance and fixed investment spending.
Construction Sector
The construction sector recorded an optimistic level in the Business Confidence Index of 57.3 points during August, reflecting the continued optimism among establishments in the sector, despite a slight decline of 0.4 points from July, which recorded 57.7 points. This decrease is attributed to a decline in confidence levels related to input costs during the current month and those expected for the next month.
The Business Confidence Index (BCI) is an economic indicator that reflects the level of optimism of establishments regarding current business conditions and future expectations based on data from the business confidence survey conducted on a sample of establishments operating in various non-oil economic activities, according to the unified national classification of economic activities (ISIC4).
The index is calculated within a range of 0 to 100 points, with a level of 50 being the neutral point. Values above 50 indicate a state of optimism and increased confidence in business, while values below 50 reflect a state of pessimism and decreased confidence in business.
