“Safe Treatment” launches the “Safety of the Guests of God” initiative at Jeddah Airport
The initiative was launched during the reception of pilgrim flights at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, in the presence of a delegation from the association headed by Executive Director Mona Binqash, Board Member Nihad Al-Tuwaireb, and Public Relations Director Taif Al-Sulami, along with the team. During the visit, health kits, awareness messages, and guidelines were distributed to support the safety and well-being of pilgrims from the moment they arrive in the Holy Land.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Safe Treatment Association, Talal Al-Nashri, explained that the initiative is part of the community engagement programs that the association is keen to implement annually, stemming from its responsibility towards serving the pilgrims and its belief in the importance of preventive and awareness-raising efforts to enhance the safety of pilgrims and enable them to perform their rituals with ease and peace of
mind. He indicated that the initiative includes welcoming pilgrims at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, in addition to distributing a "health kit" to them. This kit contains a number of essential items that contribute to enhancing comfort and health safety, including: an umbrella, a bottle of bottled water, a prayer mat, a face mask, a toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as hand sanitizer. This leaves a positive impact on the pilgrims and helps them maintain their health while performing the rituals, with sincere prayers that God accepts their Hajj and returns them to their homelands safe and sound.
He added that serving the guests of God is a great honor and a national and humanitarian responsibility that we cherish. The Kingdom's comprehensive efforts to serve pilgrims reflect exceptional care and great concern for their comfort and safety. He commended the Kingdom's efforts, under the guidance and support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to dedicate all resources to serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, including pilgrims, Umrah performers, and other visitors, through an integrated system of health, organizational, accommodation, and transportation services. This ensures that the rituals are performed with the highest levels of safety and ease.
Al-Nashri affirmed that the "Safe Treatment" Association continues its community mission by launching targeted initiatives and intensifying its health awareness programs. This stems from its belief that raising health awareness is one of the most important pillars in protecting society and enhancing quality of life, in addition to establishing the concepts of medication safety and safe treatment through innovative methods and effective community partnerships.
At the end of his statement, Al-Nashri praised the efforts of all the workers and volunteers in the association, and their dedication and commitment to the success of community initiatives, reflecting the spirit of humanitarian work and social responsibility towards serving the guests of God, recording his thanks and appreciation to the officials in the management of King Abdulaziz Airport, for their cooperation and the facilities they provided to the association in the success of this initiative.
