
Al-Mufarrij controls the Green team in the World Cup
The son of the capital, Riyadh, who began his journey in the world of football within the corridors of Al-Hilal Club, the 48-year-old started his run from the age groups with the youth, junior and Olympic teams of “Al-Zaeem” until he reached the first team, contributing to achieving many championships at the local level in particular, and he has several decisive and beautiful goals, most notably his goal against Al-Nasr in a wonderful scissor kick, and his golden (wonderful) goal against Al-Shabab in the last moments of the Crown Prince Cup final match that Al-Hilal won.
Fahad Al-Mufarrij progressed through a number of administrative tasks, starting with the manager of the Olympic team in 2012, before being appointed manager of the first team in 2013, up to the position of Executive Director of Football, which he assumed in 2019, in addition to being a member of the Board of Directors for more than one term.
In the World Cup
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced the appointment of Fahad Al-Mufarraj as the executive director of the first and under-23 national teams, and reviewed his qualifications, noting that he holds a master’s degree in football business administration, and has extensive experience in the administrative field of the game, extending for more than 15 years, during which he progressed through a number of administrative positions, until he became the executive director of football at Al-Hilal.
He recalled representing the youth national teams in a number of international competitions and the Al-Hilal and Al-Ettifaq clubs during his playing career, before retiring and moving into administrative work.

For his part, Fahad Al-Mufarraj expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the boards of directors of Al-Hilal Club under whose umbrella he has worked since 2012, stressing that the support and trust he received contributed - after God’s grace - to achieving many accomplishments and championships. He said: “I thank the loyal fans of Al-Hilal, and all my colleagues in the technical and administrative staff and players, for all the support and cooperation I received during the stages full of achievements, wishing Al-Hilal Club success in the next stage.”.

Brazilian professional Carlos Eduardo, who previously played for Al-Zaeem in a professional stint, posted on his official Instagram page: “I greatly respect and appreciate Fahad Al-Mufarrij for his outstanding and effective role within the club.”.
He added: “You know I don’t post much on Instagram, but I want to express my gratitude and respect for this man. Al-Mufarrij was a great person within Al-Hilal, he knew the mentality of the club and the players, and he was present in the most difficult moments, and everything he did was with the aim of improving the club and those who work in it.”.

Fahad Al-Mufarrij boasts a remarkable record of achievements and podium finishes, totaling 47 titles across both his playing and administrative roles. As a player, he contributed to 23 championships with the first team, before continuing his success as an administrator by contributing to 24 more titles, bringing his total achievements with the club to 47

Al-Mufarrij’s administrative career witnessed contributions to many achievements, most notably: the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup six times, the Crown Prince Cup twice, the Saudi League six times, the AFC Champions League twice, the Saudi Super Cup five times, the Riyadh Season Cup, the Lusail Cup, the Al Ain International Championship, in addition to participating in the Club World Cup four times.

The Saudi Football Federation announced the appointment of Fahd Al-Mufarrij as the executive director for both the first and under-23 national teams, showingcasing his qualifications, noting that he holds a Master's degree in Football Business Management and possesses extensive experience in the administrative field of the game, spanning over 15 years, during which he held several administrative positions, culminating in his role as the executive director of football at Al-Hilal.
He reminded everyone of his representation of youth national teams in several international competitions and his time with Al-Hilal and Al-Ittifaq clubs during his playing career, before retiring and moving into administrative work.
