In detail: 5 advanced free centers for storing the luggage of pilgrims

revealed General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Regarding the development of 5 centers dedicated to serving the storage of pilgrims' luggage in the Two Holy Mosques, coinciding with the season Ramadan.
This strategic step aims to facilitate the movement of worshippers and pilgrims and enhance levels of comfort and organization to ensure smooth movement within the courtyards and facilities.
This initiative comes as an extension of the wise leadership’s keenness to harness all capabilities to enable pilgrims to perform their religious rites with ease and peace of mind.

Sites of the Grand Mosque

The Authority identified 4 vital centers in the Grand Mosque, which were precisely distributed to include the western courtyard behind Restroom No. 6 and Ajyad Street next to Restroom No. 1.
The locations also included the eastern courtyard next to the Makkah Library and the services building in the third Saudi expansion after Shooter 3. To enhance the efficiency of the service, the Authority allocated points for receiving luggage at main entrances including King Abdulaziz Gate, King Fahd Gate, Umrah Gate and Gate 100.

Expansion of the Prophet's Mosque

The Prophet's Mosque has witnessed the establishment of a new and advanced luggage storage center, located specifically between exits 365 and 366, to serve visitors and facilitate their movement.
This center operates according to the highest organizational standards to ensure the safety of belongings and the speed of procedures, keeping pace with the expected crowds during the holy month.
All these centers operate with an integrated operational mechanism that ensures rapid access to services from all parts of the Prophet's Mosque.

Free service guidelines

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques confirmed that the luggage storage service is provided completely free of charge to all pilgrims and operates around the clock.
The regulations stipulate a maximum storage period of four hours to ensure the service is rotated and benefits the largest possible number of pilgrims.
This service is part of a series of development programs adopted by the General Presidency to enhance the quality of services provided at the Two Holy Mosques.
