Worshippers gathered at the Prophet's Mosque today to perform the Isha and Taraweeh prayers on the 27th night of Ramadan , seeking Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree) in the last ten nights, amidst a spiritual atmosphere of peace, tranquility, and devotion.
The courtyards and halls of the Prophet's Mosque from early morning with worshippers from within the Kingdom and abroad, who flocked to perform the prayers in the blessed precincts of the Prophet's Mosque (peace and blessings be upon him) in a spiritually uplifting and serene atmosphere.
Caring for the affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque
The worshippers were led in the Isha prayer by Sheikh Dr. Hussein Al-Sheikh, in the first two salutations by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Qarafi, and in the last salutations by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Barhaji.
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in coordination with various relevant authorities, has ensured that the Prophet’s Mosque is fully equipped with all its services and preparations to receive worshippers and visitors.
Environmental protection services
The prayer areas were furnished with carpets, and cleaning, fumigation, and perfuming were intensified. Zamzam water was provided, along with environmental protection services and maintenance of facilities and restrooms.
Preparations included organizing visitor flow, providing wheelchair services, and activating monitoring and reporting systems, all of which contribute to maintaining the safety and comfort of those visiting the Prophet's Mosque and enabling them to perform their religious rites with ease and tranquility.
