A safe and organized Hajj: Awareness and guidance programs with specific timings to serve pilgrims

This comes as part of an integrated system aimed at enhancing legal and organizational awareness among the pilgrims from the moment they arrive at the designated times.

Guiding pilgrims on how to perform the rituals

The Ministry, through its Department of Mosques, Da'wah and Guidance in Taif Governorate, is implementing awareness and guidance programs at the Miqat points of Qarn al-Manazil in As-Sail Al-Kabir and Wadi Mahram in Al-Hada, Makkah Region. These programs aim to guide pilgrims on how to perform the rituals according to the correct Islamic method with ease and tranquility.
The programs include providing guidance on Ihram (the state of ritual consecration) and its prohibitions, the procedures for performing the rituals, and raising awareness of the importance of adhering to the regulations and instructions governing the Hajj season. This contributes to enhancing the safety of pilgrims and the smooth flow of their rituals.

These efforts also include distributing publications and awareness materials in several languages, taking into account the cultural and linguistic diversity of pilgrims coming from different countries around the world.
In addition, digital content is being provided via interactive screens, smart devices, and electronic applications to facilitate pilgrims' access to religious and guidance information.

Performing the rituals

The Ministry is keen to increase the field presence of qualified preachers and translators to answer pilgrims' inquiries and provide them with direct guidance, thus contributing to raising the level of religious and behavioral awareness among the guests of God.
The project to raise awareness of prayer times is part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs' operational plan for the 1447 AH Hajj season, aiming to help reduce common errors in performing the rituals and promote adherence to organizational and health instructions, thereby supporting a safe and organized Hajj season.
