
Hafr Al-Batin Al-A'la: The Ministry of Environment reveals rainfall amounts in the Kingdom's regions
The highest amount of rain was recorded at the airbase monitoring station in Hafr Al-Batin in the Eastern Province, at 21.2 mm, while the Hafr Al-Batin and Qaisumah Airport stations in the region each recorded 17.6 mm, while Al-Khafji recorded 10.2 mm, and King Fahd Road in Ar'ar in Al-Ahsa recorded 7.1 mm.
Rainfall amounts in Saudi regions
According to the daily report from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on rainfall monitoring across the Kingdom, 84 hydrological and climatological monitoring stations recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours in the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, Qassim, the Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan, Najran, and Al-Baha.
The report indicated that in the Riyadh region, rainfall was recorded at 16.4 mm in Al-Ruwaidah in Al-Quway'iyah, 11.9 mm in the agricultural nursery in Shaqra, 11.4 mm in Al-Sulaimaniyah neighborhood in Al-Quway'iyah, 11.0 mm in Khaf in Al-Dawadmi, and 10.7 mm in Al-Khatamah in Al-Majma'ah.
Meanwhile, in the Makkah region, rainfall was recorded at 8.4 mm in Bani Saad in Maysan, 2.2 mm at the Al-Balad station in Taif, and 2.0 mm in the Al-Quray' Bani Malik center in Maysan Governorate.
Rain in Saudi Arabia
The report indicated that the Qassim region recorded 2.0 mm of rainfall at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Al-Nabhania, and 1.8 mm in Riyadh Al-Khabra. In the Asir region, Al-Asrah recorded 2.8 mm, Al-Namas recorded 1.8 mm, Abs recorded 1.8 mm, and North Al-Bashair
recorded 0.9 mm in Balqarn. The Jazan region recorded 4.0 mm in Al-Qura’ah in Al-Ardah, while Najran Airport in the Najran region recorded 2.7 mm, and Hima in Thar Governorate recorded 1.8 mm. The Al-Baha region recorded 0.6 mm at the Shabraqah monitoring station.
