The Greek coach of Al-Khaleej football club, Giorgos Donis, confirmed his team's readiness to face Al-Nasr in the Saudi Professional League, noting that the match represents a great challenge against the league leader.
Donis said during the press conference held before the match that his team is aware of the difficulty of facing a strong opponent that has distinguished players, while at the same time expressing his confidence in the ability of Al-Khaleej players to deliver a good performance and compete during the match.
The Al-Khaleej coach added that the team is working with a high team spirit, stressing his pride in what the players have been offering since the beginning of the season, which has been reflected in the team’s performance in recent matches.
Donis explained that the coaching staff is focused on continuing to work with the same spirit and discipline on the field during the next stage, indicating that the goal is to finish the season in the best possible position in the standings, especially since the team will be playing on its home ground in Dammam Stadium.
Al Khaleej currently occupies eleventh place in the league standings with 30 points from 25 matches, and seeks to advance in the standings when they face league leaders Al Nasr this evening (Saturday).
