Photos: Al-Jawf rains create a stunning natural scene that attracts locals and visitors

Al-Jawf region attracted residents and visitors alike to enjoy the breathtaking rainy weather and the spectacular rainbow that adorned the sky east of Sakaka city in the Khawaa area, following rainfall accompanied by intense hail.
The sands of the Nafud desert blanketed in a pristine white, creating a captivating contrast with the golden sand, in a natural spectacle that embodied the beauty of winter in the heart of the desert.
The rain also created natural waterfalls that flowed through valleys and ravines, drawing families and nature enthusiasts to the desert areas and parks. Photographers and artists were keen to document the flowing torrents amidst the sand and the artistic tableaux painted by the dense cumulonimbus clouds as they embraced the colors of the rainbow in the sky, a scene that reflected the blending of the white earth with the enchanting horizon.

Stay away from flood channels

The relevant authorities called on citizens and residents to take precautions and stay away from valleys and flood channels while enjoying these weather conditions, wishing everyone safety and enjoyable times in nature.
