
A citizen was caught grazing illegally in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve
The forces confirmed that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine of (500) riyals for each camel.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended two citizens for violating environmental regulations by entering a protected area without a permit in the King Salman Royal Reserve. Legal procedures were applied, and they were referred to the competent authorities.
The forces clarified that the penalty for entering protected areas without a permit is a fine of 5,000 riyals.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security also apprehended a citizen for violating environmental regulations by transporting one cubic meter of local firewood in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve. Legal procedures were applied, and the seized quantities were handed over to the competent authorities.
The forces clarified that the penalty for transporting local firewood and charcoal is 16,000 riyals per cubic meter.

The forces urged reporting any cases that constitute an attack on the environment or wildlife to the number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom, and all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without the slightest responsibility on the part of the reporter.
