This comes as part of efforts to enhance the reliability of information circulating, and to reduce rumors or unverified predictions that may cause anxiety or mislead public opinion, especially during seasons that require high accuracy in weather-related information.

The center pointed out that issuing weather forecasts or publishing weather information from unauthorized entities is a violation of the Meteorology Law and its implementing regulations, and requires the application of penalties and legal procedures against violators, while emphasizing the importance of following weather updates and alerts through official approved channels.
