The General Authority for Ports explained that the newly introduced service connects Dammam Port Strategically, directly with the ports of Sharjah and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, and Umm Qasr in Iraq.

Mawani (Saudi Ports Authority) noted that this expansion of shipping routes aligns with the objectives of the current National Transport and Logistics Strategy.

Official figures revealed that King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam boasts a comprehensive infrastructure and logistics facilities, including 43 fully equipped berths.
The authority added that the port's total handling capacity reaches 105 million tons of cargo, making it a fertile and attractive environment for major international companies.
