Strict measures were taken against 7 people for transporting 13 violators who did not possess Hajj permits

announced The Ministry of Interior that Hajj security forces at the entrances to Mecca apprehended four expatriates and three Saudi citizens for violating Hajj regulations by transporting 13 individuals without permits to perform Hajj.
The Ministry issued administrative decisions through its seasonal administrative committees, including fines of up to 100,000 riyals for the transporters and anyone involved in the violation, as well as imprisonment and public shaming. Fines of up to 20,000 riyals were imposed on the transported individuals for attempting to perform Hajj without a permit. The expatriates will be deported and banned from entering the Kingdom for 10 years after serving their sentences. The Ministry will also seek the legal confiscation of the vehicles used to transport the violators.
The Ministry of Interior urged all citizens and residents to adhere to Hajj regulations and instructions.
