Half a million trucks and a sea-air route ensure the flow of goods to the Gulf

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has enhanced the flow of trade through integrated logistical measures that ensure the sustainability of supply chains. These measures include activating transit services for transporting goods across the Kingdom to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Logistics explained that the land transport system relies on a massive fleet of 500,000 highly efficient trucks.
This strategic step aims to guarantee the continuity of transport services and meet the growing demand at the local and regional levels.
The new measures also revealed of the sea-air
logistics route Specialized air cargo facilities handle and prepare these shipments according to the highest international standards before they are flown to their final destinations. This integration between ports and airports reflects the efficiency of the Kingdom's logistical infrastructure.
In a related development, the Knowledge and Beneficiary Services Center has been established to provide advisory and operational support via the unified number 199003. This center operates under the motto "More efficient communication for globally competitive ports," making it easier for investors and traders to track their shipments.
These developments are the result of high-level collaboration between the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Transport Authority, the Ports Authority, and the Federation of Saudi Chambers. This institutional synergy underscores the Kingdom's progress towards becoming a global logistics hub connecting three continents.
