350,000 people benefited from translation and answering inquiries at the Grand Mosque

The CEO of the Hajj and Umrah Gift Association, Engineer Turki Al-Hutairshi, explained that the translation project relies on a team of 100 translators who provide simultaneous translation services in more than 20 languages, and accurately convey the inquiries of the pilgrims to the service providers within the corridors of the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
The CEO of the Hajj and Umrah Gift Association, Engineer Turki Al-Hutairshi, explained that the translation project relies on a team of 100 translators who provide simultaneous translation services in more than 20 languages, and accurately convey the inquiries of the pilgrims to the service providers within the corridors of the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
He noted that the project operates within a fully integrated 24-hour operational system throughout the holy month of Ramadan to accommodate the high volume of visitors and pilgrims, and to support the multilingual guidance and information system within the Grand Mosque.
He explained that since its launch at the beginning of Ramadan, the project has served 356,869 beneficiaries among the visitors to the Grand Mosque, including pilgrims and worshippers.
