Preparing General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque To welcome the millions of worshippers, pilgrims, and visitors who began arriving with the arrival of the last ten days of Ramadan the blessed month of Ramadan.
This is achieved through the activation of a comprehensive operational system based on four main pillars that ensure the quality of performance and efficiency of service in the Two Holy Mosques. These pillars include operational services, maintenance work, crowd management, and enrichment services to create a reverent and spiritual atmosphere for the guests of God.

Smart technologies

The Authority intensified its field efforts by meticulously caring for and perfuming the carpets, continuously disinfecting the corridors with steam and sanitization, providing blessed Zamzam water at all locations, and preparing additional prayer areas to accommodate the large crowds.
The Authority also implemented Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to guide visitors to less crowded restrooms via interactive screens that use real-time data to facilitate access and reduce waiting times. Furthermore, it activated monitoring systems and support services to ensure the highest quality standards.

Efficiency of engineering systems

The authority has raised the readiness level of all maintenance services to the highest degree by enhancing the reliability of electricity and power networks, ensuring the efficiency of air conditioning, lighting, and advanced sound systems, and verifying the safe and continuous operation of elevators and escalators.
Preparations also included a thorough review of safety and emergency systems to guarantee the continuity of services according to the highest international standards of accreditation, thus ensuring the safety and security of visitors to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.

Professional crowds

Crowd management teams have intensified their efforts to regulate movement within the Two Holy Mosques and their outer courtyards by activating flow paths, interactive 3D maps, and the "Where Are We?" digital location cards for precise positioning.
Foot teams equipped with simultaneous translation devices have also been deployed to serve pilgrims in their various languages ​​and provide comprehensive logistical, medical, and awareness services for those observing Itikaf and those praying, enabling them to perform their religious rites in a safe and tranquil environment.
