Four Al-Nassr players are competing for the season's awards
The Saudi Professional League announced the names of the champions nominated for its individual awards for the 2025-2026 season, in which the best player of the season is determined, within the four categories: Player of the Season, Coach of the Season, Best Saudi Player, and Best Promising Player.
Voting mechanism
After the candidates are identified, in each category, the names are put to a vote in two places at the same time. The first includes the fans of the Saudi Roshan League all over the world, and the second includes the members of the expanded technical committee, consisting of every coach and captain in each of the 18 teams in the Saudi Roshan League 2025-2026, in addition to 18 media figures who are among the most prominent in the sports arena.
The voting percentages are distributed as follows:
Coaches account for 40% of the total votes.
Team leaders: 40% of the total votes.
Journalists: 15% of the total votes.
Saudi Roshan League fans: 5% of the total votes.
This diversity in the voting committee reflects the league’s commitment to honoring all those who have left an artistic, marketing, media and public impact on the Saudi Roshan League in its 2025-2026 season edition.
Voting for the best in each category will continue for about two days, starting on Sunday and ending on Monday, from May 17 to 19, 2026.
The winners will be announced on Friday, May 22, after the conclusion of the final round (round 34) of the current Saudi Roshan League competition on Thursday.
