5 specialized scholarship tracks... and "Acceptance" doubles students' chances of being nominated automatically
The national platform “Qabool” has launched a smart mechanism for applying to five specialized tracks for overseas scholarships , aiming to enhance the acceptance opportunities for thousands of students at international universities by automatically directing them to serve national development goals.
This new mechanism represents a qualitative leap in managing applications for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, as the smart system automatically identifies the most suitable track for the student's qualifications.
This unprecedented step contributes to doubling the chances of acceptance by nominating applicants to an alternative track if their initial track is full, while ensuring fair competition.
Scholarship pathways
The platform explained that the available options include five strategic tracks , foremost among them the “Pioneers” track, dedicated to distinguished international universities according to established rankings.
This is followed by the “Excellence” track, which guides students toward specialized fields that support the comprehensive development vision at leading international universities.
The “Research and Development” track also stands out as a fundamental pillar for supporting scientific innovation by sending qualified individuals to prestigious research institutions.
Complementing this is the “Supply” track, specifically designed to bridge gaps in the Saudi labor market with educational outcomes aligned with modern economic demands.
Finally, the “Health Specialties” track aims to provide the national medical sector with highly qualified personnel to meet growing needs.
Easy application
Qubool emphasized that the application process is seamless, featuring simplified digital steps that begin with uploading the academic acceptance letter. The process continues with data review and confirmation, followed by attaching official documents and agreeing to declarations before final submission. The final selection process relies on rigorous criteria, including high competition among thousands of applicants and transparent ranking based on available seats.
