Nigerien army has killed more than 72 terrorists across the country, including over 50 in airstrikes carried out between January 19 and 25.
The weekly bulletin issued by the Nigerien Ministry of Defense stated that the operations and airstrikes also resulted in the arrest of 48 suspects, the destruction of logistical supplies belonging to terrorist groups , and the seizure of 14 weapons.
On January 23, the Nigerien army announced the elimination of 53 terrorists and the arrest of 37 suspects for their alleged involvement in terrorist and criminal activities during intensive counter-terrorism operations conducted nationwide.
