Al-Maghlouth appointed Deputy Minister of Information: Thanks to the leadership and a distinguished media career
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth expressed his sincere thanks, appreciation and great gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - on the occasion of the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him Deputy Minister of Information with the Excellent Rank.
Dr. Al-Maghlouth expressed his great pride in this precious royal trust, asking God Almighty to grant him help and success in fulfilling the trust placed in him, and to live up to the expectations of the wise leadership, stressing his determination to work with dedication and sincerity to achieve the leadership’s aspirations and contribute to the development of the media system in the Kingdom.
A distinguished career in the media and communications sector
This appointment is the culmination of Dr. Abdullah Al-Maghlouth's distinguished professional and academic career in the field of media and government communication. Dr. Al-Maghlouth is considered one of the most prominent national talents who contributed to establishing and developing modern government communication concepts in the Kingdom. He previously served as Director General of the Government Communication Center and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Media, where he spearheaded significant efforts to unify the media message of government agencies and develop communication tools with the public.
His Excellency possesses extensive experience that combines academic and field work. He holds a doctorate in digital media and has made significant contributions to the digital content industry and the development of media strategies that keep pace with the rapid changes in the global media landscape.
Supporting the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030
The appointment of a deputy minister of media at this time is of particular importance, as the media sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is undergoing radical transformations in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The ministry seeks to enhance the Kingdom’s media standing at the regional and international levels, develop the sector’s infrastructure, and empower young national talents.
