The National Center for Meteorology issued an important weather alert today for the Eastern Province, warning of strong winds that could directly impact daily life and traffic in several major cities and governorates. The center explained in its report that the expected wind speed ranges between 40 and 49 kilometers per hour, a speed sufficient to stir up dust and sand, especially in open areas and on highways connecting the region's governorates. This weather condition has caused a significant decrease in horizontal visibility, dropping to between 3 and 5 kilometers, necessitating caution from drivers and those using highways. The center indicated that this weather condition will continue, God willing, until 6:00 PM today.
