His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa extended his highest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - on the occasion of this great success that adds to the Kingdom’s impressive record in managing and organizing the largest human gatherings in the world.

A historical legacy of serving pilgrims

The Kingdom's efforts in serving pilgrims are rooted in a deep historical legacy and a profound religious responsibility. Since the Kingdom's unification, its successive leaderships have given the care of the Two Holy Mosques and the organization of Hajj affairs the highest priority. Over the decades, the Holy Sites have witnessed massive development projects, beginning with the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and the development of infrastructure, culminating in the use of the latest technologies to ensure the comfort and safety of the millions of pilgrims who come from all corners of the earth to perform the fifth pillar of Islam. This established approach is what His Highness the Governor referred to, as each successful Hajj season represents a continuation of this honorable legacy.

The integration of efforts and its impact on the success of the season

His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa pointed out that the high level of integration among the various governmental and private entities involved in serving the pilgrims had the greatest impact on facilitating their spiritual journey. This high level of coordination contributed to easing the movement of pilgrims between the holy sites of Mecca, Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah with ease and tranquility, which positively impacted their performance of the rituals in a safe and organized spiritual atmosphere.

His Highness also congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, praising the great integration between the security, military, health and service agencies, which resulted in managing millions of crowds efficiently and competently, and providing an integrated system of services that ensures the safety, security and comfort of the guests of God.

The importance of the Hajj season on both local and international levels

The success of the Hajj season has an impact not only locally, but also across the entire Muslim world. Locally, this success strengthens national pride and highlights the capabilities of Saudi personnel in managing and organizing this major religious event. Internationally, it reinforces the Kingdom's position as the heart of the Muslim world and reflects its true image as a nation that dedicates all its resources to serving Muslims and facilitating their religious observances, thus enhancing its soft power and its leading role on the global stage.

His Highness concluded his statement by praying to God Almighty to accept the pilgrims’ Hajj, to return them to their homelands safe and sound, to perpetuate the Kingdom’s security, stability and prosperity under its wise leadership, and to reward its leaders with the best reward for the great efforts they make in serving Islam and Muslims.
