The meeting focused on reviewing the plans and designs for the proposed rehabilitation complex for children with disabilities in Sakaka, and was attended by a number of officials and advisors.

A world-class development project

During the meeting, His Royal Highness the Prince of Al-Jawf listened to a detailed explanation of the project, which is considered one of the most prominent non-profit development projects in the northern region. The project is being built on a vast area of approximately 15,000 square meters, allowing for the establishment of integrated facilities that serve the association's strategic objectives. The complex primarily aims to bring about a qualitative leap in the system of specialized services provided to children with disabilities in the Al-Jawf region, by raising the efficiency of educational and therapeutic programs and implementing the best international professional standards in this field.

Integrated facilities to enable people with disabilities

The new complex is comprehensive, featuring a range of essential facilities designed to meet all the needs of the children it serves. These facilities include:

  • A specialized school: to provide educational services for boys and girls with disabilities, ensuring their right to education in an accessible environment.
  • Daycare Center: Provides a safe and stimulating environment for children during daytime hours.
  • Advanced Rehabilitation Center: It includes specialized clinics that include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, as well as units for treating behavioral disorders.

This integrated system contributes to providing comprehensive services that support the empowerment of beneficiaries and enhance their opportunities for effective integration into society, thus easing the burden on their families and providing them with the necessary care within their region.

Architectural design that respects identity and sustainability

During the presentation, the architectural design of the project, overseen by engineer Majid bin Mohammed Al-Harsani, was reviewed.
