Reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in global transfer market news, has settled the controversy surrounding the truth of Al-Nassr Saudi Club’s negotiations with Lorenzo Pellegrini, captain and star midfielder of AS Roma, to sign him during the current winter transfer window.
In the past few hours, Italian and Saudi media outlets have reported that Al-Nassr is keen to sign the Italian international, indicating that the Saudi club is preparing a lucrative offer including an annual salary of up to €15 million to persuade the player to move to the Saudi Professional League. This news coincided with Al-Nassr's successful acquisition of Iraqi talent Haider Abdulkarim from Al-Zawraa, further fueling speculation about the club's intention to make other major signings.

In a decisive response to these speculations, Fabrizio Romano denied any contact between the two parties via his official X account (formerly Twitter). Despite denials of negotiations with Al-Nassr, Pellegrini's future with the Italian capital club remains uncertain.
