Al-Oyoun Charitable Society: Ramadan aid worth 344,000 riyals

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote social solidarity during the holy month, Al-Oyoun Charity Association announced a comprehensive Ramadan aid package exceeding 344,000 Saudi Riyals. This initiative is the culmination of the association's tireless work to meet the needs of the most vulnerable families in the region and ensure their basic necessities are provided during Ramadan.

The second phase of the Ramadan project saw the distribution of 200 complete food baskets at a cost of 84,150 riyals. The contents of the baskets were carefully selected to include essential food items, dates, and baked goods sufficient to meet a family's needs for the entire month. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on beneficiaries amidst economic changes and bring joy to their lives.

The context of charitable work and its societal impact

This charitable initiative by the Al-Oyoun Association aligns with the general trend of the non-profit sector in Saudi Arabia, which is witnessing remarkable development in its mechanisms and organization, in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to empower the third sector. This assistance is particularly significant as it not only provides financial support but also strengthens the values of compassion and national unity among members of society, especially during religious seasons when generosity and giving are amplified.

A sophisticated regulatory mechanism to ensure dignity

Ali Al-Fares emphasized that the distribution process adhered to a strict organizational mechanism to ensure smooth operations and rapid completion. Al-Fares explained that the association prioritized activating a "home delivery" service for beneficiaries, delivering the aid baskets directly to their doorsteps. Special attention was given to the elderly and people with disabilities, recognizing their health conditions, preserving their dignity, and sparing them the inconvenience of traveling to the association's headquarters.

This procedure represents a qualitative leap in the management of logistical operations for charitable associations, as it ensures that support reaches its actual beneficiaries with ease and convenience, reflecting the high level of professionalism with which the association’s seasonal projects are managed.

Thanks and appreciation to our partners in success

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Saad Al-Eid , expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all partners who contributed to this achievement, from donors and supporters, including businesspeople and local residents, to the volunteer teams who worked tirelessly to prepare and distribute the aid. Al-Eid emphasized that these figures and accomplishments would not have been possible without God's grace and the continued support of the community, urging everyone to continue giving to ensure the sustainability of the Association's programs and to serve a wider segment of those in need.
