Sultan pointed out that Al-Qadisiyah is not just a club, but a pioneering entity that was among the first Saudi clubs to raise the Kingdom's name high by achieving Asian titles, an accomplishment that remains a source of pride for all Gulf and Arab people. The international goalkeeper praised the current sporting and community activities within the club, emphasizing that initiatives encompassing all age groups are restoring the club to its former glory.
A message of human loyalty
For his part, star player Yasser Al-Qahtani affirmed that participating in such events is a moral obligation and a source of pride for every player, praising Al-Qadisiyah Club's approach of honoring both the deceased and the living. Al-Qahtani explained that the club's continued organization of these initiatives, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, reinforces a culture of gratitude within the sports community and underscores that sports are about ethics and a message before they are about competition.
The family of the deceased thanks the initiative
At the end of the moving evening, Mansour Fayel, son of the late Ali Fayel, expressed his deep gratitude to the Al-Qadisiyah management and the participating players. He emphasized that this tribute eased the pain of their loss and made the family feel the love and appreciation their father enjoyed among his teammates and fans.
