A khat dealer was arrested in Asir: 33 kg seized from a citizen

Security patrols in the Asir region announced the successful arrest of a citizen involved in trafficking 33 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat. The operation took place in Al-Farsha governorate, where patrols became suspicious of the individual. After stopping and searching him, the contraband was found in his possession. The suspect was immediately detained, and all initial legal procedures were initiated against him, in preparation for referring him to the competent authorities to complete the investigations and apply the deterrent penalties stipulated by law.
