King Salman Relief Clinics treat 172 beneficiaries in Saada

The mobile medical clinic of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid continued to provide its medical and humanitarian services in the Razih district of Saada Governorate, Yemen, as part of the ongoing efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the health sector in Yemen and alleviate the suffering of citizens in the affected areas.

Statistics on medical services provided

According to field reports, a total of 172 patients visited the clinics between December 10 and 16, 2025, receiving a variety of services across several basic medical specialties. The beneficiaries were distributed as follows:

  • The Epidemic Disease Control Clinic received 56 beneficiaries, reflecting the interest in monitoring and combating infectious diseases.
  • Emergency Clinic: Provided services to 26 patients who needed urgent interventions.
  • Internal Medicine Clinic: 63 patients benefited from it.
  • Reproductive Health Clinic: 9 beneficiaries visited it.
  • The Awareness and Education Department: provided its services to 18 beneficiaries to raise health awareness.

Support and nursing services

Regarding support and ancillary services, statistics showed significant activity to ensure integrated healthcare. The nursing services clinic saw 74 patients, while the surgery and dressing clinic served two patients. To ensure a safe and hygienic environment, two medical waste disposal activities were carried out, and necessary medications were dispensed to 147 patients according to approved prescriptions.

The importance of mobile clinics in remote areas

These mobile clinics are of paramount strategic importance in Sa'dah Governorate, particularly in Razih District, given the rugged terrain and the lack of permanent healthcare services in many villages. These efforts aim to bridge the significant gap in Yemen's healthcare system, which is already struggling with numerous challenges due to successive crises. These clinics serve as a lifeline for citizens who find it difficult to access central hospitals in major cities.

The Kingdom's humanitarian role in Yemen

This project is part of a comprehensive system of humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to all Yemeni governorates without discrimination. Through these health interventions, the Center aims to improve health indicators, reduce the spread of epidemics, and provide dignified care to the most vulnerable groups, thus reaffirming the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to standing with the brotherly Yemeni people in all circumstances and crises.
