The Crown Prince of Bahrain arrives in Riyadh and is received by the Deputy Governor of the region

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his accompanying delegation, arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Tuesday, in a visit that reflects the deep and strong fraternal ties that unite the two sister kingdoms.

At the forefront of those welcoming His Highness upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport was His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region. Also participating in the reception were the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom, Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, along with the Acting Director of the Regional Police, Major General Mansour bin Nasser Al-Otaibi, and the Undersecretary of Royal Protocol, Fahd Al-Sahil, in a scene that embodied the warm welcome and generous hospitality customary between the two brotherly nations.

The Crown Prince of Bahrain's visit to Riyadh comes within the framework of ongoing communication and continuous coordination between the leaderships of the two countries. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain share deep-rooted historical relations spanning decades, characterized by a unique bond based on kinship and a shared destiny. The wise leaderships of both countries are constantly working to strengthen this strategic partnership across various political, economic, and security fields.

On a strategic level, the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, chaired by the Crown Princes of the two countries, plays a pivotal role in advancing bilateral cooperation. The Council oversees the implementation of numerous development initiatives and projects aimed at achieving economic integration and facilitating trade and investment, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

These visits are of paramount importance in light of the current regional and international challenges, as they contribute to unifying visions and positions on issues of common interest, thereby strengthening the Gulf Cooperation Council system, ensuring the security and stability of the region, and fulfilling the aspirations of the peoples of the GCC countries for greater prosperity and progress.
