A historical legacy and a great responsibility

Since its founding, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been honored with the service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, a great historical and religious responsibility. The Hajj season, which attracts millions of Muslims from around the world, is one of the largest annual human gatherings globally, posing exceptional logistical, security, and health challenges. Over the decades, the Kingdom has developed extensive expertise in crowd management and organizing rituals, investing in massive infrastructure projects such as the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques, the Holy Sites Metro, and the Jamarat Bridge, to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims.

An integrated system that reflects the Kingdom's leadership

His Excellency the President of the Board of Grievances affirmed that the success of the Hajj season clearly reflects the efficiency of the integrated system, which operates in perfect harmony across various security, service, and health sectors. He noted that the distinguished national talents who managed and participated in organizing the Hajj demonstrated high professionalism and an exceptional ability to handle all circumstances. He added that the use of the latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence applications, digital services, and the smart Hajj card, contributed to raising the quality of services provided and facilitating the pilgrims' journey from arrival to departure.

Strategic importance and global impact

The continued success in organizing the Hajj seasons has an impact not only at the local level, but also extends to enhance the Kingdom's standing on the regional and international stages. Locally, this success embodies the capability and competence of the nation's sons and daughters, and strengthens national unity and a sense of pride. Globally, it reinforces the Kingdom's image as a leading nation in the Islamic world, capable of fulfilling its religious and humanitarian responsibilities with efficiency and competence, and sends a message of peace and security to the entire world, affirming the civilizational and humanitarian mission that the Kingdom embraces in serving Islam and Muslims.

Dr. Al-Yousef concluded his statement by praying to God Almighty to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, to perpetuate the Kingdom’s security, stability and prosperity, to accept the pilgrims’ Hajj and good deeds, and to return them to their homelands safe and sound.
