The Emir of Kuwait receives Prince Turki bin Mohammed: Strengthening Saudi-Kuwaiti relations

His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, received at Bayan Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation, in a visit that reflects the depth of the fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries.

The meeting began with His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd conveying the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister, to their brother, His Highness the Emir of the State of Kuwait, along with their wishes for his continued health and happiness, and for the brotherly Kuwaiti people continued progress and prosperity. For his part, His Highness the Emir of Kuwait asked Prince Turki bin Mohammed to convey his greetings and appreciation to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, expressing his wishes for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people to achieve further advancement and growth.

Review of bilateral relations and ways to develop them

The reception included friendly exchanges that reflected the strong and deep-rooted relations between the two leaderships and the two brotherly peoples. The meeting was attended on the Saudi side by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Kuwait, and Mr. Hamad bin Sulaiman Al-Saleem, Director General of the Office of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd. On the Kuwaiti side, it was attended by Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior, and Lieutenant General (Retired) Jamal Mohammed Al-Dhiyab, Director of the Office of the Emir of Kuwait.
