The Support Association honors the Seeta bint Abdulaziz Endowment and signs the 2026 agreement

In a move reflecting the deep integration among non-profit organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in celebration of models of sustainable giving, the city of Jeddah witnessed a special ceremony on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, organized by the “Daam” Association for the Care of Divorced and Widowed Women and Their Children. The ceremony was dedicated to honoring the “Sita bint Abdulaziz Endowment” in recognition of its pivotal and pioneering role in supporting the association’s journey since its establishment, and for its tangible impact on promoting social stability.
Strengthening the social work system in light of Vision 2030
This recognition comes within the context of a comprehensive development drive underway in the Kingdom, where the third (non-profit) sector represents a fundamental pillar in the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to increase this sector's contribution to the GDP and enhance its social impact. The partnership between the "Daam" Association and the "Sita bint Abdulaziz" Endowment is a prime example of this approach, moving beyond the traditional concept of welfare to one of empowerment and sustainable development, thus contributing to transforming beneficiaries from recipients of aid to productive and self-reliant individuals.
High-level attendance and signing of the 2026 agreement
The ceremony was graced by the presence of a distinguished group of royals and social leaders, including Her Royal Highness Princess Noura bint Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Endowment, and Her Royal Highness Princess Jawahir bint Turki bin Abdullah bin Saud Al Kabeer, Chair of the Programs and Activities Committee. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a member of the Endowment's Advisory Council, also honored the event with his presence.
To crown this successful journey, a strategic agreement was signed to support the association's projects for the coming year, 2026. This agreement aims to expand the scope of services provided to beneficiaries and ensure the sustainability of quality programs that target improving the quality of life for widows, divorcees, and their children.
Sustainable social and economic impact
During her speech at the ceremony, Her Royal Highness Princess Jawahir bint Turki affirmed that the partnership with “Daam” has yielded tangible results, describing the association’s work as “real life paths” and not merely fleeting charitable projects. These joint efforts have successfully restored stability to more than 3,500 beneficiaries over the past year, thereby achieving family and community stability and restoring dignity to housing and a decent standard of living for the beneficiary families.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Endowment, Khalid Mohammed Zahran, explained that this support stems from the Endowment's commitment to the approach of Her Royal Highness Princess Seeta bint Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on her – in creating a real and lasting impact on people's lives. The 2026 agreement is expected to open new horizons of self-reliance for the beneficiary women, thus strengthening their role as active members of society and the national economy, and underscoring the importance of genuine professional partnerships between endowments and field organizations to achieve a multiplied social impact.
