Defense and Transport Ministries sign memorandum of understanding to develop railway lines
In a strategic move aimed at enhancing integration between vital sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Defense and the Public Transport Authority signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the railway sector. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the World Defense Show in Riyadh, a leading global platform that brings together leaders in the defense and security industries.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Defense by His Excellency the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, and on behalf of the Public Transport Authority by His Excellency the Acting President, Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, in the presence and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser.
