Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Academy is making preparations to celebrate the graduation of this year's students and honor the winners of the research excellence awards

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Academy has begun preparations to celebrate the graduation of its students from various academic programs and specializations. These include the Saudi Board and Fellowship programs, the George Washington University Fellowship in Medical Education and Health Leadership Development, the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Scholarship Program, specialized medical diplomas, and several other specialized programs leading to employment. The ceremony will also honor the winners of scientific research awards totaling 1.5 million riyals.
Dr. Ayman Al Khadra, Chief Medical Officer of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, emphasized that investing in medical education and training is a strategic pillar of the group. He noted that the academy's programs contribute to preparing qualified healthcare professionals according to the highest professional and scientific standards, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to patients. He added that supporting training and scientific research programs aligns with the group's commitment to contributing to the development of the healthcare sector in the Kingdom and meeting its needs for specialized national talent.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Bukhari, Executive Director of Academic Affairs at the Group, explained that the graduation of this distinguished cohort is an extension of the Group's ongoing efforts to develop national healthcare competencies and enhance investment in medical education and training. He emphasized that the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Academy has become an advanced educational platform contributing to building an integrated system for medical education and scientific research. He added that the Academy will continue to expand its training and educational programs to keep pace with modern scientific developments and enhance the capabilities of healthcare professionals in various specialties.
Dr. Bukhari noted that the organizing committee is making significant efforts to ensure the ceremony is befitting of this occasion. A comprehensive program has been prepared, including honoring the graduates, awarding certificates, showcasing the most prominent achievements of the academic programs, and highlighting graduate success stories and the scholarship programs offered by the Group.
The ceremony will also honor the winners of the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Journal of Scientific Research Awards, which have a total value of 1.5 million riyals, in support of scientific research and to encourage innovation in the medical field. The awards are granted according to the decisions of a judging panel comprised of leading experts and researchers, after evaluating the submitted research. The first prize is 500,000 riyals for the best medical research, the second prize is 300,000 riyals for the second best medical research, and the third prize is 200,000 riyals for the third best medical research. The fourth prize is 200,000 riyals for the best four scientific reviews. The fifth prize is awarded to the best three emerging research projects from students in various health colleges, with a total value of 150,000 riyals. The sixth prize is awarded to three healthcare practitioners enrolled in training programs affiliated with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, with a value of 150,000 riyals.
