Regarding the timing, Al-Mashayqah pointed out that the Eid al-Adha prayer in the Tabuk region will be held 15 minutes after sunrise, based on the Umm al-Qura calendar. This date is determined according to directives from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to all its branches throughout the Kingdom. The religious and historical context of Eid prayer

Eid prayer is one of the most important Islamic rituals that Muslims are keen to perform, and it is a confirmed Sunnah (practice) of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. Historically, this ritual was observed by going to open prayer grounds to gather the largest possible number of Muslims, thus strengthening the spirit of brotherhood and love and expressing joy and happiness. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the government has historically given great attention to preparing prayer grounds and major mosques in all regions, continuing its established approach of caring for houses of worship and facilitating the performance of religious rites with ease and tranquility.

Local and national importance and impact

At the local level, the gathering of thousands of residents of the Tabuk region to perform Eid al-Adha prayers simultaneously represents a powerful display of faith, strengthening social bonds and community cohesion. These early preparations also reflect the efficiency of local authorities in managing crowds and religious events. At the national level, the success of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs branches in preparing thousands of mosques in record time coincides with the Kingdom's tremendous efforts in serving pilgrims to the Holy Mosque in Mecca, highlighting the Kingdom's leading role in Islamic affairs and providing a globally exemplary organizational model.
