This service enables visitors to the Prophet's Mosque to accurately and instantly monitor the traffic flow along the corridor leading to the Prophet's Mosque (peace and blessings be upon him) and the tombs of his two companions (may God be pleased with them). This technological initiative comes at a time when the Prophet's Mosque is witnessing a surge in visitors during the days and nights of the holy month of Ramadan.

The historical context and religious significance of the visit
The Prophet's Mosque holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims, being the second holiest site on Earth after the Grand Mosque in Mecca. It was founded by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) himself. Since the dawn of Islam, Muslims have been keen to visit Medina to pray in the Prophet's Mosque and to offer their greetings to him and his two companions, Abu Bakr and Umar (may God be pleased with them), at the Prophet's grave. This great ritual represents a spiritual journey that draws millions of pilgrims annually. With the historical development and successive expansions the Prophet's Mosque has witnessed throughout the ages, culminating in the prosperous Saudi era, managing these millions of visitors now requires innovative solutions that integrate spirituality with modern technology.
Expected impact of the service locally and internationally
Locally, this service directly supports the efforts of security and regulatory authorities in crowd management, preventing overcrowding and congestion in the corridors leading to the Prophet's Mosque and the Peace Corridor. It also aligns with the objectives of the "Guests of God Service Program," one of the key programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to bring about a qualitative leap in services provided to pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors through digital transformation.
On both regional and international levels, this service offers reassurance to millions of Muslims coming from outside the Kingdom, enabling them to plan their visits in advance with ease and convenience. The use of interactive technologies reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to harnessing all available resources to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of those visiting the Two Holy Mosques.
