Erada Complex for Mental Health in Riyadh has moved to Exit 18: 24-hour emergency services

The Third Riyadh Health Cluster announced the completion of the relocation of the Erada Mental Health Complex from its former location in the Al-Khozama district to its new, modern, and strategic location on Al-Nahda Road (Exit 18) in Riyadh. This pivotal step is part of the cluster's efforts to improve the quality of life and enhance the healthcare services provided to citizens and residents, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
A qualitative leap in mental health services
This move marks a significant turning point in the development of mental health care and addiction treatment in Riyadh. The new facility was not chosen arbitrarily, but rather to meet the needs of expanding medical services. It was designed according to the latest international engineering and medical standards, respecting patient privacy and providing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment conducive to recovery. The new location aims to facilitate access to services for beneficiaries thanks to its central location, thus reducing the burden on patients and their families.
Strengthening the health sector infrastructure
This step comes within a broader context of developing the infrastructure of healthcare facilities in the Kingdom. The third Riyadh Health Cluster focuses on enhancing operational efficiency by providing state-of-the-art workspaces for medical and administrative staff and equipping clinics with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies. This development extends beyond buildings to include improving the patient experience and reducing waiting lists, ensuring the provision of integrated and comprehensive healthcare that begins with prevention and diagnosis and extends to treatment and rehabilitation.
Emergency and outpatient services
On the operational side, the association confirmed the readiness of the emergency departments at the new headquarters to receive emergency, psychiatric, and addiction cases 24/7, ensuring a rapid response to critical situations. Outpatient clinics and support services are scheduled to operate from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing consultations and regular follow-ups for patients.
A firm commitment to the well-being of beneficiaries
The Erada Complex reaffirms its commitment to providing its comprehensive rehabilitation and prevention programs at its new location, continuing its established approach to supporting those recovering from illness and helping them reintegrate into society. This move presents an opportunity to enhance psychological and social treatment programs, reflecting the wise leadership's focus on human health as a top priority and the Ministry of Health's dedication to providing mental health care that meets the aspirations of the community.
